Tally is heading a team of prominent community modders and mappers in an effort to create an unofficial expansion for CoD2 called "Rise of the Resistance."
They intend to create, within 12 months, an add-on which will take the game into areas not covered so far with an emphasis on the resistance movements in countries such as France, Italy, and Poland.

In 12 months time, eh?
Think that patch is going to be too late if they're hoping to liven up CoD2, a lot of people have already moved on from the game due to dissapointment, and I think a lot more will have done so in 12 months time.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's a brilliant idea to make an expansion, but I'm afraid they are going to waste their time and it won't catch on as there simply won't be enough players anymore

Maybe you are right D. but remeber COD and the time to the first expansion
It last a very long time untill it showed up in stores, but still we play it
Truly I don't like other shooters...either they are si-fi, with all bunch of hi-tech sh..t i don't like.
I don't have speed to compete with kids playing that
They are not so original in story so why to play... as my concern i'm playing for fun with people that are most around my age,
so they are slow also
On the other hand I like vintage stuff...
Hope that new version COD3(or 4) for PC will overcome our expectations... I have seen COD3 in game movie and it looks even better than iI imagined.
If not then we have to warry about... MOH isn't looking so nice to me...
