Just got Cod2 :P

I just got cod2, so now i can start participating in [FuN] events and stuff again
I downloaded the game and my mate gave me his cd-key cuz he doesnt use it

So im about to test it out now! Which server does everyone else play on? Or which one is good
I've never really played cod2 so if you see me in any server ill probly suck, as i sucked at cod 1.

Well i figured one of those servers but which one do most people play on?

as for cod4... unless i get a better pc i doubt i can run it.

My specs are as follows

AMD Athlon 2500+ , 1.8 ghz
1024 Meg of ram
Nvidia Geforce 6800 BFG
And well i got enough hardrive space for it so that dont matter

I think the best thing you could do mate, Is get yourself on XFIRE... http://www.xfire.com/download/

That way you can add all of us, and you will see where we all are.

If you add me to your friends on xfire with the same name i use here, Then you can see all my friends i have "[FuN] members" from my profile.

Dunno how much, you being an ET'er, you value playing objective-based games, but I would still recommend going on Mayhem first (DM/TDM). It may be a bit boring if you want to play objectives, but playing that gametype you'll be able to play non-stop and get yourself accustomed to the gamestyle, weapons, etc. [FuN]4Gamers is Search&Destroy, in other words, find the enemy's objective and blow it up. Bit more tactical, but it uses a round-system, meaning that once you get killed during a round, you will not respawn until the next round has started. Which can be quite frustrating if you're new to the game and are still figuring out the basics.

hehe, im half asleep atm. Anyways ty for teh advice dutcheh! I played cod1 and UO when fun still had the servers for that and i didnt really fancy it too much cuz i kept getting ownt and i ended up getting rid of it. Never liked cod1 very much.. although single player wasnt too bad. But i've heard good things about cod2.. so when i go to my dads again ill jump on a server and give it a test drive as this pc doesnt have the connection nor the hardware to run cod2.

Anyways ill add ya on xfire

Don't worry it will run on your hardware great
CoD serial is great written piece of software... guys know their job imo... it's well optimized and it runs on configs below minimal requirments (as cod4 does but it's cod4)
