Only thing really planned so far is a one-week cycling trip with my dad in Spain, which would actually mark the first summer in years that my sole foreign destination is not the UK. Nonetheless, I very much doubt that I will not make a trip to that beautiful island at some point during the summer.
But the cycling trip is the only thing planned so far, although we haven't booked anything definite, it is 99% likely we are going.

April/May has usually been the time of the year I've started making proper plans, so I might have more to tell in 4-6weeks time

I don't know what summer will bring to me... whatever will come hope it will be great :)

till now always was like that, no plans = great time, if plans = something goes wrong...

so no planing this year... last year I was reconstructing flat that was supposed to be finished in a month
.... yeah well it lasted almost 2 :(

no more plans, if planing next time I'll put penalties in contract for sure

Suppose you don't feel like supporting the Dutch now, eh? :P

Again, like at the last World Cup, we've been put in what they like to call "the poule of death" We survived it 2 years ago, so perhaps we might again. Seem to always play better against strong nations on these tournaments, so we'll see how we kick off with our first match against Italy

ps
Thought just came to mind... Would it be a nice idea to host some sort of Euro Cup Poule, with everyone predicting the scores of the game and keeping scores of who's doing the best? Could either have everyone wanting to compete predict all scores beforehand, or do it round by round? I wouldn't mind organising this, but I surely could use some help as I might not be able to keep scores every day.
Let me know what you think :) Helps keep the kids (and crazy women like Claire) off the streets, so around Europe everyone can enjoy a safer summer

Liverpool kicked them out of the Champions league and just now Manchester United stopped their Premier League hopes (2-1)

Never mind there is allway next season :)

Yer, funny thing about the CL now is that of all 4 teams remaining, I'd rather have Liverpool win it than any of the other ones

Ah well, least we've won the league at least once in the past 15years :P

I don't have any big plans but my usual summer includes beer, golf, canadian football, and a few beach parties at the cabin. But the beer bottles left behind aren't mine ;)

I'd like to travel or do somethin' fancy, but I have no time and my house reno's are almost done...maybe when its all done I'll go somewhere.
Back to prowlin so keep ur eyes open..or u won't be around to use em.

At least Sam can keep it on topic without resorting to football :)

No big family holiday plans (need to repalce lots of wndowns with expensive double glazing units custom made to fit old windows = no cash) - amanda will take kids to Ireland for a week and I will descend on an [fp] clan LAN party near Glastonbury for a few days in June - I promise to cook Pealla Dutchman :P

Poor fP'ers :P (Bastid )

It was sooner than 4-6 weeks, but I've already planned and booked a two-week trip to London/South Bucks and North Ireland+Ireland, leaving early July. Should be fun, still lots to see in London and the other island will be a whole new experience to me, have not been there before but already know of lots of places I'll want to visit, so I'm sure the week spent there will fly by pretty quickly.
Any tips for (North) Ireland are more than welcome tho, I'm sure I won't be able to see even a hundreth of what's worth visiting, so if I enjoy myself chances are very likely I'll come back at some point
