Didn't see the entire match, but what a grand finale. I'm sorry for our Croatian friends, Keiser Mac, but wow! I gotta say I wish I'd been in one of the Turkish parts of Amsterdam in those final minutes, as I'm sure an even bigger party than after the Czech Rep. game has now erupted over there.
Shame about Croatia, but alas, only one team can go thru. Not to worry tho, you lot have got a young side and I'm sure you'll be able to show the world the same class as you did back in '98 claiming third place at the World Cup.
The Dutch of course will now be divided, of course I'm talking about if we reach the final, who we'd want to face there... Germany, still our arch-rival when it comes to football... or Turkey, seeing as there's a large Turkish community in this country... Least this tournament's not without any surprises

They made mistake, tbh didn't watched till the goal fell but... have seen all chances that were not taken unfortunately. Every good out of bad...

It's always easy to discuss these things afterwards, I mean, things would've been different if Croatia had kept their cool and the ball within possesion on their half, but of course they saw and opportunity and were flying high and thought to just go for it. It could've paid off but unfortunately it didn't and at what cost. As I said, shame about Croatia but to a neutral fan it was an awesome finale to the game. Makes you wonder tho, would Croatia still have won the penalty shoot-out if it had remained 0-0?

Before we have a rematch against the Italians, both them as us have to win our next game first. And I do remember us winning very convincingly against Italy, so what makes you think they will suddenly win easily against us?

Indeed, I am not an expert, I never said I was. Plus I am extremely biased. Of course I don't give the Italians a chance against us, just like I think the same of the Russians tonight. Whether that all will become reality is only something the future can tell

Fair play to Russia is all I can say tbh.
Yea, I'm a little dissapointed but not bitter at all. They took the game to us, they were better, they won, fair n square. I reckon neutral fans will have very much liked watching this game and especially how the Russians played. All I can say to them is good luck and if they continue this way are crowned champions, they are very much worth it
Interesting thing to note btw is that now 3 group winners have been knocked out, leaving only Spain to battle tomorrow else we're going to have a runner-up as European champion for sure...
