All of you that chat on IRC #[FuN] probably cover a lot of the odd and funny stuff that people do in games on Gamers, but since the Forum here is getting pretty popular I thought I'd start a topic for that kind of stuff.
For instance, a few nights ago I was on Gamers. There weren't any [FuN] players there at the time and a lot of people I didn't recognize. Mostly it was an OK group - no obvious jackasses causing trouble or anything but more than a few newbie-acting players. Hellraiserkane types in a message that players can get tons of ammo and weapons by entering /gib at the console and some tried it. Even better, a little later he told people to enter /buynow for good stuff and some tried that -- instantly bombing them out of Wolf and loading their browser with the URL for Activision's purchasing page! That may be a trick you've all seen before but I hadn't. Several tried it and dissapeared. I was giggling like a moron for 5 minutes.
