Manual updating of Call To Duty from 1.1 to 1.2

To do a manual update of Call Of Duty

Make a back up of these files (version 1.1):

In the COD folder -

CoDMP.exe

in the COD\main folder

cgame_mp_x86.dll
game_mp_x86.dll
ui_mp_x86.dll
pak0.pk3
config_mp.cfg

These are the files required to update to version 1.2:

In the COD folder -

CoDMP.exe
version.inf

in the COD\main folder

cgame_mp_x86.dll
game_mp_x86.dll
ui_mp_x86.dll
pak0.pk3
pak8.pk3
localized_english_pak2.pk3
config_mp.cfg

If you just replace these files the game will be updated or you can run the installer. I recommend either way you back up the files.
If you want to revert back to 1.1 then just delete the 1.2 files as listed above and restore the old ones.

I updated to version 1.2 with the patch. "Borrowed" serial "cough cough"
Cant play multiplayer anymore? And the FUN servers dont
show so i cant connect.

Can somebody help.

I'can play again but i still cant find Fun in server in lists.
if i add server adresses to "favorets" manualy, It sais server added
but i cant see them and cant click on them. Its a big problem. And manualy connecting s*cks big time.

Where can i get the files to update manualy to 1.2 because i installed the patch. Deleted the files to go back to v 1.1 but now i want back to 1.2 again but you cant install the patch again.

would advise anyone to go to http://www.udpsoft.com/eye2/index.html and instal ase...solves a lot of problems so even if servers aint showing in game browser u can add them to ure favs on here and never lose them again
