Install Problem?

Postby HairyRazor » Fri Jan 14, 2005 4:38 am

Installed CoD today for my son but keep getting this message,
EXE_ERR_NOT_FOUND_ configure.csv

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times to no avail. Tried 2 other pc's and get same message as you see the green boot up screen.

Any help would be appreciated.....

There's a few people on www.codadmin.com forums who've had the same error when they've copied the game files, rather than installing from the source cd's eg. http://www.codadmin.com/nuke/modules.ph ... hlight=csv

I am reinstalling from just bought cd's. Windows XP pro fully updated, amd athlon 2000, 1024mb ddr2700, ati radeon 9250, sb live.

I updated my ati drivers today, still same message. Tried to install on wifes computer and same thing.

I delete the cod folder and clear temp folder each time I reinstall.

Well thats very strange, if it fails to work on two different systems there could be a problem with the install disks.

Also it looks like you patched the game to 1.3, we're on 1.5 now. Try installing the game clean & without patches.

The error your gettin refers to mp, does the game boot in sp?

If the game works in sp, but not 1.3 mp, there could be a problem with the patch your using.

Fileshack have always been pretty clean for me

let us know how u get on...
