Server settings

Got a quick question. Why is it when I go on another server, in this case the Custom64, do all my setting reset? I have both the wolfconfig and the autoexec files, both with the same settings in them. And in my bani folder, i have the same thing and some of the binds don't stick.
The point of the journey is not to arrive.......

Mayb the server uses another Mod 
and therefor another .cfg
and therefor another .cfg
