Bind the console (Heeeelp)

Lo all,

I would bind my console, because on my keyboard is the ^ key the same to open the console (that means if i open the console and try to write with colors i must push the ^ key, then the console close). lol now i have a problem or? i have tried all but i can't bind the console to anther key can everyone help me?? I know that i can write with colors on chat, but i would make a color-bind! ok cya.....

your console key aint the key under escape with the ` ?......try binding it using....... bind ` "toggleconsole" or .....bind 0 "toggleconsole" remember though if your putting it straight into your wolf cfg file u need the " " if binding it in in game through console you dont

if it is set as a toggle command then pressing the same button will open and close the console - good luck

nope it doesn't close the console its only open the console and i have another problem, if i open the console with another key, and i will shove with ^, and i push ^, the console open! Do u understand - I hope u can... ok cya

bind x "toggleconsole"

should work, if not you are probly adjusting the wrong config.
mod servers use their own config (in your RTCW/mod folder)

i have test it with zippy over 3 hours... it doesn't work! so the admins can delete this topic
