Send private messages in the Game?

Last week, i became a private messages from FUN-HEKKEH in the Game. Only i was able to read it. But i forget to ask him how to do it.
Are only Admins able to do it, or is it with a console command possible???

on shrub mod (gamers and phreeks) you do \msg <players name> then <message here>

on bani mod you do \tell <slot number> <message here>

but the admins can only view the slot number, so you put it your console /tell_target <message> before doing this make sure your cursor is on the person you wish to private chat to (i don't know if this works on phreeks or gamers, but it works on goldrush)

Oh, and players CAN view the number. Just type /pb_plist in console to view 'em all...

Private messages can be done in three manners, 1 of them i'm sure won't work:

RTCW Method:
1) \tell_target <mex> ---> it works ONLY pointing the mouse over your MATE.

2)\tell_enemy <mex> ---> same as tell_target, but vs an enemy (it doesn't work, i think)

ET Method:
1) On shrub and ET Pro u have to write
\m <name> <mex>

u can put a clan tag and it will go to any clan members.

Ex. \m [fun] Lo all! <--- will go to any [Fun]

2) LEARN TO USE FIRETEAMS (more useful than anything else in ET)
