Great job Jamie...!

Some of the smaller maps i have now set so they wont come up in the voting if 6 or more players are on(didnt want to take off completly as some of the newer players seem to like them)

I think its best that Icestation stays as it is for now, even 15mins of bashing and its the most voted for map, if more FuN'ers/players say that they want it reduced or take the bashing off then i will only be to happy to do so.

I would like to make a more tatical map pack for the next one(propper game play, not fun maps) so far someone has asked for POW Camp, witch is a good suggestion, any others??

Thanks for playing on mayhem

Can't you have Keiser's 3-headed dog do that? As the messages that appear as text comments (like any player is possible to do), are imo more noticable than the ones the mod spreads around as they seem to get lost between all the kill info.
Or... have it spam right in the middle of you screen every 5 seconds or so... That'll make sure people quickly log off to make a donation, but to not do that last bit...

Nothing wrong with your eyes m8, spam msg's have gone. PB used to do the spamming but as it is turned off spamming was also turned off.

Extreme mod can do spam but it apears in the lower left hand corner (where the kills show) we have used this in the past but no one pays any attention to it down there as i have proved in the past.

Dutchy's idea is the best, get cerb to do spam on Mayhem, should be easy enougth to do as cerb is already advertising itself on the server through spam. Keiser over to you :)

Sayet, wasn't mp_rocket a cod1 map its been a long time since i last played it cant remember what game it was for.

The player limit on Mayhem for voting for the small maps was not working but should be now. So now if 5 or more players are on, maps like tower broadwalk will not show up in the vote.

All server maps are located HERE

That's not the point, I'm not a FuN member, you are. I'd be lying if I said I haven't thought about it, but that's not at all what I was referring to.
Over the years FuN members have occasionally used an alias while gaming to either catch fun-spoilers (who'd only misbehave when no FuN members were visibly present) or to have a quiet game as a break from the amount of admining they've done. Nowadays I see a couple of FuN members playing with aliases all the time, which makes me wonder if they still take pride in having those tags.
I think it's a fair question to be asked, you do with it whatever you like. I don't make FuN policy, I am not a FuN member anymore so you owe me no explanation.

IMO...the people that are "STILL" in fun after all that has happened...Definately do not "not" ware there tags cos they are not proud...and simply becaus of the reasons already mentioned...if they had no pride..they certainly wouldnt be a member anymore...As things nearly.....ended.

I know your not questioning dutchy mate, just simply wanting a little info..however, these guys have [FuN] running through there blood :D

And i know it's not realy any of my bussiness either..but thought i would give my opinion :D

i'll go sit back down now lol

True but

If we play wars than i will put tags np to represent a clan in which i am but on public i like to play under the name which i like atm, if i am not allowed to do that i will rather stop to play the game completely... lets say i want to be free...

And one more reason.
We have two same servers. On one there are 10 players and 8 of them wares same tags and other server there are also 10 players but with random names. what do you think which one will ppl rather chose to play? i bet it would be 2nd one...

btw Dutchy i think you are chicken and you still owe us your picture....

Yes I am chicken, you know it, I know it, everyone knows it, enough said :)

You make a fair point about using a name you like, and please let me clear up that I did not want to come across as telling you what you can and cannot do. I just like seeing all FuN members with their FuN tags playing. In the past, quite a few members have changed their names, either temporarily or permanently, but used to stick to their tags. Would that be somewhat of a compromise? Stick the tags on but play with the name you fancy playing with? After all, it doesn't take long before the regulars find out which croation nutter hides behind a certain name when you've just been shot by him 10times in a row because his reaction speed is 10times greater than yours

About the amount of tags on a server, I'm gonna have to disagree. Although you're right about players probably choosing a server crowded with various names over a server crowded with mainly tagged players, I don't ever really see such a composition on FuN servers. Usually one or two members are present, and when more join in, the player count on the server goes up as well. Perhaps at FuN peak moments, it's 1 in 3 players that's a funner.
Then again, if you as a clan make a name for yourself with nice servers, pleasant members and good admining, in my opinion people will tend to connect to your server when they see a fair bunch of clan members on, because from past experience they know they will have a good time.

Mac, to quickly reply to you, yes you've told me once why you use an alias, but how long has it been since you've regularly stuck to your tags? Surely the reason why you're incognito may not neccesarily still apply these days?

and jcket, fair response and you're right. Must admit my post may have come across a bit harsh, but merely wanted to generate proper responses and I got a few :)
Mind you tho, these are public forums of which you are a member, and unless you break the forums rules you are basically invited to join into any discussion going on, so feel free to get up from your chair as much as you like

Could something be done about bash icestation please? Needless to say I'm not a big fan of it, but 15mins is far too much regardless. I've suggested before that you could easily change the scorelimit, seeing as a bash gives you 2 extra points, so the rounds don't last as long. I'm thinking 150 would be sufficient, and it won't interfere with normal DM scores as only occasionaly does the top-ranked go above 100.
It seems quite popular I must say, but players start leaving after 7-8mins. I wouldn't mind seeing it go alltogether, but that's just my personal taste.
