a shift

Postby Jaguar » Fri Jun 17, 2005 10:57 am

I'll call this a "shift" since every time i come to this board i see nothing really new and interesting. just a hi here and there and someone repeating something from IRC(not that its a bad thing) just boring

so for the canadians eh....CFL is about to start, get the beer out and big screens cleaned up, don't be afraid to mention your fav's, I'm a Rider fan to the bone.

baseball season in full effect, and so are the contraversial comments, and now the fay society will be up in arms.

Award shows have been farely lame as usual but must be mentioned since MMVA's are comin' up in a few days and MTV had their movie awards, which weren't too bad

and of course, Coldplay(over rated and quite boring) have a record out, go buy it, every other brain washed w*** has. I have a tin foil hat on so I am emune

there's my rant for a shift, i hope this starts some new threads and opens more FuN chat through the board

Hello jaguar.

I don't know much about baseball or any form of football that doesn't involve feet and balls ;) but I'm similarly perplexed about the massive success of coldplay. They've got some tunes I really like and he seems like a nice chap (supporting charity, bought everyone in the pub a drink cos he was number one, punching paparazzi photographers - all good in my book) but I don't see why it's more successful than anything else we've churned out in the last 20 years.

thats why i hate coldplay, so boring and annoying, why not support weezer, very upbeat and great skills with guitars. I even find some rappers less annoying then coldplay...hard to do

who? well tbh we're all entitled to our opinions, however that don't mean we all been brainwashed into anything

So reading ure post, ure theory is, that coldplay are crap and anyone who listens to them have been brainwashed by the media into liking them?

Why can't ppl accept that we're all different, and all have different tastes in music/men/girls/life choices without saying ppl have been brainwashed?

just don't make any sense to me whatsoever tbh

And yes i enjoy some rap too

and some rock

and some classical

I have a very diverse taste in music, if that makes me brainwashed then i suppose i best stick it out to dry :P

BTW what is CFL?

canadian football league??? (guessing here)

Well i guess u must b brainwashed into watching that then as i don't like it eh? :P

Independence Day (US) was extremely hot here, about 35c with really really heavy humidity, think I was about to the point of sunstroke during one time. Other then that, was good, the 3rd was me and CompuWolf's anniversary (yay) so we started the weekend celebrating that then carried onto the Independence day celebration. Hope everyone else had a great weekend.
